Friends Of The Arts

Friends Of The Arts is a non-profit organization of parents, teachers, and, administrators committed to supporting and advocating the visual and performing arts in the Mountain Lakes School District. FOTA creates an awareness of the benefits derived from students' participation in arts programs and recognizes the achievements of individual and group efforts.

What a Wonderful Night of Music!

All of the bands in the district gathered on Thursday night to share their talents with the community. Elementary and middle school students had the opportunity to see the high school students perform and visa versa. In addition to the international music, student's art work and photography was featured in the lobby and gallery located in the media center.

 

MLHS Spring Musical presents: "Zombie Prom" written by Vince Marcello

Congratulations to the cast, crew and band for the wonderful and entertaining production of "Zombie Prom" . The show was enjoyed by all.

 

Fall Productions of MLHS presents: "More Than Meets The Eye" by Fred Carmichael

Congratulations to the cast and crew for a great job performing "More Than Meets The Eye". Thank you for three wonderful nights of entertainment!

FOTA Scholarship

Graduating Seniors interested in applying for the FOTA Scholarship may pick up an application in the Guidance Office. This scholarship is available to students who have shown an active interest in the arts and share their talents in the Community. Application deadline is May 15th. Congratulations to the 2007 recipients; Mike, Louis, L.J., Laura, and Katie.

Help support FOTA and our Scholarship Program by purchasing notecards and the FOTA Poster which features student's artwork. Each package, which contains a variety of eight cards, sells for a price of $15. Individual cards are also available for $2 each. The poster price is $5.
