The side parking lot is designated for student parking. The access road fromPowerville Road is now a two-way thoroughfare. Upon entering the parking lot, cars that are going to drop off students should stay to the right, discharge their students with the passenger side of the vehicle to the building (athletic entrance or music entrance), and then continue back to the access road to exit back onto Powerville Road.
Students who will park in the side parking lot may enter the lane most convenient for their designated parking space after they have reached the parking lot via the access road.
In the afternoon, cars that will pick up students should use the same route that was used in the morning. Students leaving the side parking lot should follow the traffic flow to exit onto Powerville Road.
Note: Both drop off in the AM and pick up in the PM are available in the side parking lot.
The front parking lots are designated for staff parking. There is no access fromthe front lots to the side lot. Cars dropping off students in the morning may enter the front access road and pass by the front of the building to discharge students. They should then continue past the lots and exit onto Powerville Road.
In the afternoon, the front of the building MAY NOT be used for student pick up. Afternoon access to the front of the building is limited to busses only.
Note: The front of the building may be used for AM drop off, BUT NOT for PM pick up.
This plan will be evaluated during the beginning of the school year to determine if it serves our needs. If changes are necessary they will be communicated through future correspondence.
